MAKESHIFT ARCHITECTURE FOR FLOOD RESILIENCE

This piece of research, created with the support of the Paul Pholeros Foundation, looks at self-built makeshift architecture as a tool for community resilience during natural disasters such as flooding. This small research piece looks at the commonly used phrase ‘build back better’ in terms of accessibility, and how architectural interventions during disasters can be made more affordable, easy to understand, and helpful to all.
